We are excited to help you learn more about our community and our programs!
We know that finding the right school can be a challenge. Therefore, we are committed to partnering with prospective families throughout the process with open and honest communication.
ILS values diversity in all respects and is committed to ensuring that our program remains accessible and affordable to families from a broad range of economic circumstances. We strive for an economically diverse student body and offer indexed tuition to qualifying families who may need support while attending ILS. Currently, 30% of our students participate in the indexed tuition program. Tuition ranges from $4500 for qualifying families to $30,000 for full-pay families. Families who are concerned about their ability to pay full tuition are encouraged to contact us directly for more information.
PRIORITY ROUND ADMISSION DATES
January 25, 2022: Online Application Due
February 28, 2022: Supplementary Application Materials Due
March 17, 2022: Admission decisions published after 12pm
ILS accepts applications on a rolling basis. Applications received after the Priority Round deadline will be processed as soon as possible, and prioritized based on available spaces in our classes.
Please contact us at email@example.com
The first step is to create an account with Ravenna, a web-based application system used by many Bay Area Independent Schools.
Once you have created the account, you will be able access the required forms for the application process and see all of your application forms that have been submitted. If you already have an account with Ravenna, please use the same login information. There is no need to create another account.
STEP 2: Application
ILS has a rolling admissions program. This means that we accept applications and partner with families to make appropriate admission decisions throughout the calendar year.
Your application will not be received by our admission team until you press the “Submit” button. A $50 application fee is due with the application. We offer fee waiver codes to eligible families upon request.
**We prefer that you submit an online application. However, if you do not have reliable access to the internet, please call the school to request a paper application.
STEP 3: Student Visit
Applicants are invited to participate in a weekend Play Group and/or Shadow Visit once their applications are complete.
Student Visits are a great way for prospective students to learn more about our community and to begin to develop relationships with their potential peer group and our learning guides.
STEP 4: Parent Meeting
Prospective parents/guardians will meet with a member of the admission team following the applicants participation in the Play Group / Shadow Visits.
The goals of this meeting are to learn more about your child, your hopes for their school experience, and answer any questions you have about our community and program.
STEP 5: Admission Decisions
Admission decisions for the priority admission round are shared on March 17, 2022. After the priority round, applications are accepted and admission decisions are made on a rolling basis based on availability.
Tuition for the 2022-23 school year is $30,000. Tuition includes early care, after care, school supplies & materials, snack, and daytime field trips/excursions.
