ILS values diversity in all respects and is committed to ensuring that our program remains accessible and affordable to families from a broad range of economic circumstances. We strive for an economically diverse student body and offer a sliding-scale, indexed tuition to qualifying families. ILS is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.
For the 2023-24 school year:
Full tuition for grades TK-8 is $32,000

ILS tuition includes early care, after care, school supplies & materials, and daytime field trips and excursions. ILS offers three tuition payment plans: a one-time payment (July); two-time payments (July & December); or, a ten-month payment plan (July - April).
Families who are concerned about their ability to pay full tuition are strongly encouraged to apply for indexed tuition.
Applying for Indexed Tuition
The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time.
Visit Clarity and click "Sign In" to create your account.
Begin by providing your household and applicant information. Then, use the dropdown menu in the application to select Imagination Lab School as the school to which you are applying.
Sign and submit a 4506c form to grant Clarity permission to retrieve your prior year tax returns from the IRS. By doing so, your tax return will be seamlessly uploaded to your Clarity application for review.
Fill out your financial information, including details about your income, expenses, assets, and debts. You can save your progress and return to it at any time.
Submit and pay the application fee of $60 per household, which covers all the Clarity schools that you are applying to.
Check the "Document Requests" panel on your portal to identify any additional financial documents that need to be uploaded.
The deadline for new families to complete the financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is February 15, 2024.

The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
